Alumni Spotlight: Leonardo Mir
With the goal of becoming a Media Producer, Leonardo Mir completed the Hispanic Media Broadcasting Program at Miami Media School and then re-enrolled in the advanced diploma program of Audio Production. His passion for media is very evident in all of his projects. As Founder and Owner of Mir Productions, he is also a very proud Telly Awards Winner.
A recent graduate, Leonardo is using the skills learned in both programs in the development of his business. As his production company grows, he brings on Miami Media School students as interns, providing current students the experience and guidance needed to build their successes. His personal goals have been focused on excellence in engagement and the opportunity to grow his own business and pay it forward by offering his classmates internships with meaning.
His advice to future graduates is, “Do not confuse passion with fanaticism. If you have a passion for media, you will be successful.”
